#Poem I believe

In the Flesh:
I feel like I’m just floating on water
Going back and forward with the tide
Thoughts flowing and halting and flowing again
To be or not to be
Is that the Question?

I start Looking at my circumstance
I’m feeling like I’m standing in quick sand
Because every turn I make
I sink farther
And ever door I twist the knob is locked
Then I stop and think

In the spirit
God is the author and finisher of my destiny
I utter a prayer and it helps me focus
My brighter day is coming
I just have to keep
Pushing,
Moving
Proclaiming
Expecting
Working

Until My day is here
Until My Tomorrow Comes
I have to stay in the fight and not give up
I must wipe every tear I cry
Is an attempt to regain my Strength
And start fresh
And new

Even though my today looks weary right now
I know there is a bigger plan for my life
Because I believe I’m destine for greatness
I will continue to mur mur the Words
Then I start my sequence
Because I believe, I'm trusting and I believe

Working Single Mother-Many Facets, Many roles 08/20 by Captivating Chats | Life Podcasts

Exciting Interview on August 20th

Working Single Mother-Many Facets, Many roles 08/20 by Captivating Chats | Life Podcasts

This week we will be talking about single mothers in todays workforce. How do we as women juggle professional life and family life? What do we do to be able to have a life for ourselves? develop their interests, follow dreams? We all know it is not easy, but it can be done! Many of us get up early in the morning, get the kids ready and go to work, in the evening, when we get dinner ready, put children to sleep and what time is left of the day is ours
LaDonna Cook will be joining us this Tuesday, August 20th to help us understand what does it take to follow one's dream, being a woman in today's society. LaDonna is a single mother and a professional woman. She put herself through school will raising her children, and today she is a successful therapist. But it doesn't end there, LaDonna is an accomplished poet and published author, as well as a tremendous communicator. Please join us on our welcome to this amazing woman for an evening stimulating conversation.

Explosive Emotions

My desire is to motivate this generation and appeal to the time. To bring awareness and to help to by encouraging others. I aim to leave an impact on  others with my poetry.  In reading  my words , I would love for them to speak to the heart of people. I aspire to be the voice the of healing and for many to learn from my journey.  I never wanted to stop at just two books my future aspirations involving children books, novels, and motivational speaking events.
This is just the start for LaDonna  M. Cook, my platform in life to be a blessing and uplifting to others.  I can explain my first book Expressions of the Mind, Body, & Soul as an Explosive emotions because growing up you like to get your emotions out. In the second book Until Tomorrow Comes it is based the journey and the outcome.

Captivity

As I began to think

My emptiness inside

Only your words can fill my void

You turn on apart of me

I didn’t know existed though

 I chose to pursue you

Your charm insisted

Wanting to know you

For just who you are

As I gaze in your direction

Quickly falling secretly

Openly keeping my composure

Instantly drawn into your captivity

You give me hope

#Poem ~
You give me hope

I look at you with Astoundment
In how you continue to push the envelope
Toward Self preservation and making a difference
I see the passion in your eyes
The greatness and the sound
Of determination in your voice
 Your hunger for success
This is merely my observation
See you inspire me
Quite naturally, you give me hope
You possess the skills
I have waited so long to reveal
As I release my truth and stories
To help heal me and uplift others
I push forward knowing that
My inner strength, begins with a Healthy me
